Thumbs up

well i had that 76 hauled into are yard at home.have digital camera but wife and daughter dont have tech to email me so pics.quote wife says it looks like it couldnt haul a loaded wheel barrel of wood over to are fire pit. but my daughter told me she thinks its cool.about all i know about it it turned out to be a 360 or 390 it has 4 barrel cause when guy unloaded it he had to open hood and close choke to starter up.quote wife says we should park it buy fire pit have party leave it idle says will kill bugs for miles.as she laughs at me.then tells me if i can spend money like this.heads to store and buys new trampoline and complete patio set.and at the price she paid for this stuff it should head to fridge and get me a beer when i am sitting in it.so anyways total price of truck was 1g to start with.plus haul up from regina.so anyway total price for truck about 2500 and adding up and i havent even seen it yet!!!. but if thats the price i have to pay so be it.love fords.last crack she layed on me was i should take a dump truck to swap meet so i can load everything up that i need as she laughs her *** off.now i figure every thing i buy for truck is gonna cost me somthing for the house.buy the time i got that pickup they way i want will probably put out 20g.see ya at the meet will be easy to identifiy i will be pushing around a wheel barrel

Sounds like my life but my wife is ok about my toys. When will you be able to post some pics? I have lots of parts for 73/79 Ford trucks but now now it seems that I am into 67/72 Ford trucks more, life is funny that way. Which part of Alberta are you from?

I'm pretty sure I'll be going to the swap meet, I'm just not sure when. If you see someone in a big yellow crew cab that's me.

I'm pretty sure I will come to the swap meet. Why don't we meet at the Tim Hortons at the south end near the Sobeys on the (west side of the main drag) at 10 am.

That'd be on saturday fordxxx? I'm thinking that timmy's would be a better place to meet at (as suggest previously) then at the front gates.

So 10 on staurday and 2pm on friday sound good to everyone?.

BTW, i will have my cell on me, so if anyone gets there later on friday they can give me a call (i will be sending out pm's and e-mail to notify everyone later tonight, as well as posting the times if i can find them, of the meet later tonight, as i have hw to get done right now)

Here's what i found:

April 29-30 The Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club will be holding their 40th Annual Swap Meet at Westerner Park, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, April 29 - 5 pm - 10 pm and Saturday, April 30 - 8 am - 5 pm. Featuring vintage car parts and vintage cars
403 347 7494
Sharon's Show and Sale will be held in the Agri-Centre Building at Westerner Park at the same times. Featuring antiques, collectibles, die-cast toys, crafts, home based businesses, car parts and books, etc. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING.

Sadly i won't be able to make it saturday (unless everyone wants to get dinner or something after i will be there, but i need to know), but from the times its open on friday, looks like meet time is to be around 4:30-5:00 (leaves time to coffee), and lets meet at timmy's on friday as well (just easier). If i do come on saturday (which is the day i assuming the most people wioll be there) i will be driving my truck on friday and my sisters green sunfire on saturday if there's interest.

So is anyone wants to get a bite to eat saturday (or even friday) after the meet? it ends at 5, but if you're planning on meeting at ten i would assume that you would be getting hungry by the end. So would you guys and gals be up for food around 5:30, as this is the earliest time i could be there on saturday?

Sooo let me know what your plans are .

It's been a while since I've been on-line with you guys. I was at Powerama last weekend, was home in time to go to bed, then gone away again the next morning till now. I'm in the process of going to Cowtown on more business and won't be back till later in the day. I hope to be back in time for coffee, but which Tim's are we talking about? As far as Sat. goes 10 AM sounds like a good plan, but again - which one ?? B

I'll be headed out from edmonton at 3 today, should be in red deer right around a quarter to 5, will stop in at the Timmy's for 15-20 minutes for those that are going to it today, hopefully there's going to be a some good parts it need .
