I'm there, but...a few things first:

1: what do I bring as far as food? I'm a college kid, so prepackaged stuff only please...
2: would it be cool if my g/f came? She loves trucks and mustangs, which I suppose might make her an honorary Ford chick.
3: I might be driving my *gasp* Oldsmobile during that time. It all depends on whether or not I can get my $150 Ford truck running in time. Hope y'all don't mind.

Aside from that, both days should be good for me, I just need directions.

Was the cook out before the chapter goes to the musuem or after?

I usually have to work sundays at around 4-5. So if the cookout is at noon or w/e I'll probably go to that and cut out before I have to go to work.

Did we decide on a for sure date yet?

i think that we should have it the 24th since it shall be warmer by then and we should have the cookout before we all go to kokomo to check the museum out since that will give everyone a chance to chill out from driving and relax before going up there but that is just my opinion anywho i think that if people bring some meats and chips or whatever sounds good to people for a cookout anywho let me know what you guys like... -Nathan

I'd be willing to meet the Indy members somewhere and wander up there together...I know where the museum is, but I've never been anywhere but on 31 in Kokomo...

24th sounds good to me..think that an afternoon cookout would be the best too, that way everyone who wanted to attend that could for sure...say eat round 2 would be good...sure would like to see that bonfire though that sounds like a great idea.....Jeff

I'd be willing to fork over $15-20...it'd probably be less if everyone just brings a few pounds of beef and chips or something.

I was planning on bringing 8 packs of dogs and a case of Big Red.
People could bring chips, bread, condiments, potato salad. hamburger, beans yum, or anything else that they would like to bring just giving some ideas.
Might be wise for two people to bring hamburger because of the cost. Also might be easier for the host to supply condiments so they can stay there and get used instead of just tossing them.

Someone asked if they could bring their gal. Fine with me the more the marrier.
I will be stuck bringing my kid at least, maybe the wife and other kid as well.

I posted a poll to try to see how many will show up and we can go from there on what we will need.
Atlanta is this your house or your parents?

I will bring my World Famous cheesey potatoes! I will need to know how many are going to attend.

If anyone is willing we can meet here and cruise up together I am 1 mile from I465 and 3 miles from I65.
