Got some dates if anyone is interested- First of all, this is NOT straight line racing- racers go down a muddy track that has a couple of "mounds" ( the faster classes do catch air) then they have to go around a stack of tractor tire and come back to where they started. Dont show up thinking it will be a short straight blast!!!! Having said that, the Osceola race dates are- Jun18, July3, July30, and August27th. Guthrie Center dates are June4, July9, August20 and the two day event on Sept. 5th and 6th. there is also Greenfield , but I havent received those dates yet. Osceola is looking for volunteers, mostly at this point for doing day before prep work and grooming the track after it has dried from the previous event- obviously volunteers will get in free and most likely an event staff T-shirt, anyone interested in racing, helping or even coming to watch drop me a line.
