MK, what warranty does Ford give the Gov on these vehicles?? You'd think Ford would bust their nuts on the 6500 oil change. I mean it's not that bad, but Ford does recommend 5000 mile changes. Engine hours... I put an hour meter on a new 78' 150. I averaged about 1800hrs every 20,000 miles. At 105k I had about 10,000hrs on the 351 in it..when I sold it.. If you figure that out to average speed it comes to about 11mph over the life of the truck.. Remember the hour meter is running when you turn the key. Sitting idling, at lights, in traffic the clock runs and the odometer doesn't..
