Hello everybody... hope all is well. I wanted to let everybody know (especially you OKC'ers) that I was PMed about a gtg at Thunder Valley raceway (I think this is in Norman) on Sunday March 6th. It says that they will be running some Ford trucks and a few Mustangs, and they would like for you to come if you get a chance.
thats sounds like killer fun.....i wish my engine was up to par id run it just to see what kinda time it could turn....are you planning on attending stan?? im sure i will be there and i bet i can talk my friend carl "spankin460" into going too....hopefully alot of people here in central OK can make it.....
well i just noticed its on a sunday so i need to know what time its going to happen, that will determine if i can make it or not........

I would love to be there, but most likely I will be working as they are now moving our schedule to NOON-8 *ACK*. anyway, I will try to be there, if I can.

I would definitely like to go. I think the track is in Noble south of Norman. I was there once. My friend in Norman has a stepson that races a Mustang there so I know I can get directions to find it.

Actually, PhilipSVT pm'ed me about it... you don't actually think I associate with any other Ford site but FTE do you????!!!
Actually no, I will probably not be going, though I wish I could. I'll be working.... like always. Thought about taking the time off, but I have to keep 20 hours of vacation time for the next week so I can go to Mexico... but I will let my brother know, that is provided he makes it back from Korea in time and he just might take the Lightning down there. I'll get back to ya'll and let you know.
bri are we bringing the grill. will this be a allday deal?
you better bring the grill it wont be the same without it!!! i dont get home from church until 2 or 3 so we will have to see what time it all goes down....hopefully its a late afternoon-evening thing.....

I think the track opens at noon on Sunday (think some will be thier at noon, but the track doesn't close till like 5 or 6, so have plenty of time) The track is also open on Friday night, but thought it would be harder to get everyone out since most people get off work around 5:00 and would have to go home, change, and drive (also on sunday it should be sunny, so can get some cool track vids/pics) I know a few Stillwater trucks will be down. The two Screws that were in the Tulsa car show will be in attendance, as well as a 4.6 F150 with a T-56 6-speed transmission. A few of the Deadhorse Mustangs might come also. A kid in Stillwater has an 04 Cobra (472hp @ the rear wheels) Not sure who else is going. If anyone wants to follow us from Stillwater, we would love to have you. If your from OKC area, we can just meet up at Noble or something.
As time gets close, we can figure out the fine details.
well, i was sitting here thinking about it, and it doesnt look like ill be able to make it sunday, too bad it wasnt friday or saturday, that would be easy to do......ive had too many blessings in my life lately to ditch church for personal pleasures, God has been too good to me so ill be at church that day..........hope everyone has a great time and takes lots of pictures.....
