transplant a Bronco to a 1ton chassis...

I am sure you could do it. I would think you would want to start by taking a few measurements of your Bronco frame: overall length, wheel base, axle centerlines, and body mount locations. Once you have taken your measurements, transfer them over to the 1 ton frame. I would think you would want to use some type of jig to mount the frame in to keep it straight and square when you are cutting and welding. I would also concider boxing the frame and filling the holes you won't be using to make it even stronger. I really like the idea of putting a 1 ton frame under a Bronco, it would be really neat with a PSD backed by a six speed manual or a new Torqshift automatic like the new Super Dutys have. Sounds like the recipe the the ultimate Bronco mud bogger!
