economical stroker?

I am looking into replacing current 5.8 with a hi-po reman, or maybe a stroker.
this is a daily driver. I know that a 393 with 400 or more horse and ft. lbs. would be nice, but i am worried about how much gas a will suck up. what kind of gas milage should i expect on a stroker set up.

I don't think it's wishful thinking. My 5.8 only gets 10mpg no matter how I drive. If you set it up right, and not go hog wild, it should be about the same. More torque=less gas pedal. Chances are if you have it your gonna use it.
