Are bully bar's not for 2wd trucks???

I bought a Go Rhino Bully Bar from cabelas.com a couple weeks ago. I got it in today and took a look at it and it said it's only for 4wd 99-03 f150's other than any 99-03 f150 as it stated on the website. The installation requires it be bolted in replacing the towhooks as it uses it's bolt holes. 2wd f-150's dont have those and there doesnt appear any place to bolt it. Are there not any Go Rhino (or any brand of) bully bars for a 2wd 99-03 at all?

this isnt the only problem i've had w/ cabelas- i'm through with them

Thumbs up

Didn`t find any Go Rhino bull bars for 2wd, but did find that westin makes a bull bar for 99-03 F150/F250 LD/SUpercrew 2wd only. Not sure what type of F150 you have. Check out ultimate auto accessories, com Home page near bottom, look under featured products. or check JC Whitney ( I beleive they r a forum sponsor), I did find the westin bull bar there too

Wasn`t sure about posting live links here.

Not sure if this was the answer u r looking for, but hope it helps...

For the cutting as far as I know you are basically making it similar to the 4wd editions, in that the 4x4 have a OEM cut in the air dams so the tow hooks can come through. This is basically what you are doing, never done it though so dont know much. I think it is westin or GoRhino, if you go to thier site you can download in the installation instructions so you can see all that is involved.

Yea it is westin, check thier site, go under bull bars, then click sheet applications in the toolbar on the left side, then click the approriate number under the "to install" column for your truck.
