What Happens In Kentucky?

I thought I should check with the group. I came up from Mississippi and have been in Pikeville for almost four years. I teach history at Pikeville College. I have a 1970 F-100 Sport Custom that I bought in WV and have been restoring. It will be registered this week. I also have a 2002 Mustang GT that I AutoX in WV. I do my own work on both. Students are always surprised that they have a gear head for a teacher, but I wasn't always a professor. I was formerly a motorcycle road racer and mechanic; bikes, cars, and commercial jets. I would be interested in a M&G at some point, and I am just curious about whether or not the group meets on occasion.

Let me be the first to welcome you to The Kentucky Chapter of FTE. Seems we are planning a trip to the truck race this summer... and I would like for us to take a trip to the FTP in Louisville, though it was mentioned that they are no longer doing tours. Keep in contact, you never know what will come across this Forum. But welcome, and good to have to... look forward to seeing you at a meeting!

Steve,

Glad you stopped by,
So you have a Mustang, what do you think about the new body style?
It reminds me of the ones I grew up around.
If I had the money I wuld love to own one.

We are still a new group. Glad you found us down here on the list. We've had one meet so far and I would love to have more. With the weather hopefully going to improve soon I would love to get one set up. we might try to doan online meet so that we can get together and discuss things if we can come up with a convenient time for most of our members.

We are trying to get members from both Ohio and Kentucky to join up and go to the race as a group. If there are other members in other states they are more than welcome to attend.

Well check back often as I'm hoping to get this group together for some good times here soon.

Actually, because of location, I am going to the truck race in Bristol in August.

Love the new Mustang. They finally put a panhard bar in to help the cornering.

Ryan,

I split my time between Maryland (work) and Somerset (home). I'd be interested in a group meet whenever you/we can set one up!

Keep me informed
