John here....I'm from just outside of Philly, though I've since started renting out in Center City. Still a Jersey Boy though.

 

Is there anybody in central /east New Jersey that can help me with a gas tank replacement?

 

What is wrong with the Gas Tank? If it's rust I know of some places that will coat the inside of the tank. My truck sat for a while before it ran, so I had a bunch of rust inside. They cleaned it out and coated it with some kind of 'super snot'. Is your tank inside the cab or under the truck?

 

And I finally got my 'QQ' historic plates!

 

I'm in West Creek, I'll take the ride. What do you need for tools? Maybe we can have a get-to-gether if you have room.

 

My tank is behind the axle, and has surface rust and is leaking a small amount, almost a weep...i saw some stuff online from EASTWOOD, but am not sure if it will work on my tank with all the rust...

 

My driveway is dirt and gravel, and I dont have a garage, so I will need to do it in a shop somewhere...

 

LMC has a new tank for $130.
