How long will a 351 last before it needs a rebuild. Also how much should a rebuild cost. I am looking at a 1986 F250 super cab with a 156000 miles. I the truck has been auction off 3 different times I am woundering how much the truck is worth. The interior and body look good and the motor sounds good. But I am wondering how much the truck is worth at a auction. It is a 1986 F250 Super Cab 4x4 156000 miles.

Also does anyone know if it would be easy to make this truck fuel injected. Would the fuel injection off of a 302 work.

Maintained usually, a 351 will last forever......well about 300,000 driven nicly and had been taken great care of. More realistically, I'd say 250,000 miles.
