Mac Intake

Just ordered Mac intake so should have it and installed hopefully next weekend. My wife either really loves me or has a project she wants me to do. I got new tires on saturday, ordered mac intake from motorhaven, and then ordered tonneau from summit.

nice..I ordered a MAC intake over Christmas time and put it in. It makes the under the hood compartment look 10 times better, although i couldn't tell much of a gain performace wise..

when i slapped my MAC in it made a world of a difference. Not like, turbo/super/nos difference, but it freed up a lot of restricion and throttle response.

When i put on my muffler, though, i noticed nothing.

Yup, the MAC Intake is good for looks. The performance part of it is nice, but not really too noticeable. The only thing I've noticed from seat of the pants is my chip and my gears/locker.

On the low end anyway . How noticable was the chip by itself? I am thinking of getting one.

I was kinda wondering what to do next and thought about a chip. What can I expect from a chip? Which one is the best and about how much? Or would a tuner be better?
