My truck is tryin to Kill Me

okay so im drivin down the road one day and i had to swirve suddenly to avoid being t-boned by a big rig. no biggie, but when i did it my battery fell over on the motor during this process the truck just started shaking violently back and fourth and flung the top of my bronco off of the truck. now ive strapped the battery down and no more battery problems, but for some reason now the truck at random will violently shake as before even though the the battery isnt on the motor. now ive check the balljoints and all steering linkage shocks and such and evrything is fine.

does anyone know what or have an idea what the hell is causing this? i needf to kinow before the truck kills me!!!!!!!!

Did any battery juice get on anything? Did the battery short out on the motor? Are you sure its not the motor missing badly? Where did the battery hit?

Unhappy

nope no battery juice on anything, yes it did short out a lil bit, it landed on the altenator and stalled the belts briefly, and yes the motor was, but no longer is out of time or missing.

I don't know, this is a weird problem. If the there was a short on the motor, I would check for loose or burned wiring, melted connections, maybe even have the computer system checked for any shorts. I betcha a nickel that your problem is electrical. My cousin had me drive her car to see what was causing it to jump really bad. I told her it might be the clutch going. It felt like it would slip, then grab, it was that violent. Turned out to be a fuel delivery issue, some shorted out relays.

bad shake

my dads truck did the shake thing real bad, it was his bushings on the radius arms that were worn out. Replaced them and never did it again.
