Swiss...what model do you have?? I have the wiring diagram and can give you the info, but theres diffs between XL/STX and XLT/FX4/Lariat. The last 3 you can tap off the accy delay relay so you still can listen for a period after the ignition is shut off.
Also, I would think you'd want hot in run and key on, rather than just run.
Let me know....

Don I have your exact Truck in Blazing Yellow! I saw the accessory relay as I took out the glove box and was checking out my options. I figured someone had the wiring diagram. I have all the wiring diagrams on my 65 mustang, the truck is a new addition.
Yes I do want to tie into the accessory harness.
Thanks for your assistance. My next move was to get the console panel off and trace back the wiring.

Steve...Get your gallery loaded up, I'll bet you got a great-lookin truck!
Anyhow, the delay relay goes thru connector C270e pin 13, circuit 54. This connector is located in the RH kick panel (also known as the Central Junction Box). The wire is Light Green w/ Yellow stripe (LG/YE). From that point it splices, and the leg for the 'delayed audio off' goes to connector C290a behind the radio. So that wire should be hanging in the breeze, right?? Yeah, good luck!
At $60, the wiring diagram was a good purchase, as far as I'm concerned. This truck is so full of electronics, I want to get an idea of what's going on. Someday I'll get the shop manual, but for right now I like chasing electrons!
PM or e-mail me if you need more info! Good Luck with a NICE rig!
