Hello

Hey all,
I'm new to the site. I live in Heflin(south of Minden), am stationed at Barksdale, born and raised in West Monroe. My first ford was a 77 F250 4X2/351M400/T18 4spd. Sold it 18 years ago when I entered the service. I managed to get my hands on a 77 F100 Ranger/351M400/C6. I love it. Traded a 77 Silverado/factory 454/th400 for the ranger. It was an even trade to a good friend, so we both came out smelling like a rose. Look forward to visiting with some of ya'll.

Hello Harry, when you say West Monroe, do you mean West Monroe in New York State or West Monroe, Michigan?

West Monroe Louisiana, I didn't realize there was such a place. However I have been to Pride Louisiana. Have a good buddy that lives there. Also I have lived in West Monroe New York. It's a little town outside of Syracuse. Also there is a West Monroe Michigan.

It's funny how different states have the same name for a city town. I'm willing to bet there is at least ten states with a city or town with the name Springfield.

Harry glad to see you found us and Welcome to FTE. You can Learn Anything and Everything about a Ford F-Series here. Just Go to the Guidelines there is no wrong question to ask.

I'm the Louisiana Chapter leader here. We just started not to long ago and still in the process of Growing.

I have a Friend in Vacherie who restored a '77 F-100 with a 5.0 302 a couple of years ago. If you go through the Threads you see the 73-79 is a very popular generation. IMO the '77 year model truck looks the best out of the 73-79 generation.
