Exclamation 6inch lift w/chrome rims

Does anyone here know if the lift that the dealership puts on the truck is worth it, and if you know of any problems with a factory lift. Im thinking about buying a truck already lifted. But I dont know if its better to get it lifted on your own. Also the dealership puts on bigger rims and tires, I have even test droven one and felt a little vibration at 60 to 70 mph. but it went away onch I passed 70 mph. So I asked them if the warranty covered the front wheels shaking and they said if it got worse they would fix it. But has anyone had experience returning a factory lifted truck because the front tires are vibrating?

It's probably not a Factory lifted truck. I am sure the dealership paid for aftermarket products and will rip you off for the charges for the items. We had one here decked out and they added 6k on and I can get all the stuff done they had for under 4k!

The lift is aftermarket but I say go for it.You will pay more but you wont even notice it in your monthly payment and best of all you should never have warranty issues with the dealer if the truck was sold to you allready lifted with larger tires.

Yahh...... 6K was what there adding into the truck for a 6inch lift.. huge tires with chrome rims, bedliner, chrome step bars, full front grill, and flowmaster exhaust-duals. It seems worth it?

I would have done it if I had the choice back then! The time and effort alone is worth getting it in a package deal from the Dealer, plus as you stated the truck will still have full Warranty since they did the aftermarket work!

For that price and you get all that stuff it seems like a pretty good deal to me. You could pay that price for the lift and wheels alone.
