Advice...new wheels...torsion bar adjustment.

A few weeks ago, I adjusted my torsion bars to help level the front of my truck. Well, this weekend, I added the wheels I had planned to. After posting a pic on another forum, a comment was made about the rideheight/tire size. Judging from the pic below, would you re-adjust the front end back down, or would you leave it where it is? Thanks.

I'd leave it the way it is. Just be sure to readjust the headlights so that they do shine in peoples rear veiw mirrors to bad.

To me, that looks like too much gap between the tire and fender. But its your truck, if you like it, who cares what others think!

well, I liked it with the stock wheels. For some reason now, I am second-guessing...wondering if I should lower it back down a bit.

Thumbs up

Id leave it where it is. It looks good that way. If it bothers you than move it back, but from looking at the pic, It looks good and level

What size tires are they? Would be nice if you could lower the back an inch or so.

Check out www.4wheelparts.com , they have all sorts of niffty suspension parts at fairly decent prices.

Don't worry yourself too much cause thats a good loking truck.

Leave it like it is and throw some 285/75-16 Mud Tires on it. You won't be sorry!! The tires will make it look that much better with those wheels.

Leave it, but like mentioned above, adjust your headlights and get bigger meat! Good looking truck though!

leave it, it looks better level, I would also recommend adding some 285/75r/16 tires to it, would make it look really beefy, thas what I did to my truck and people think I have a lift on it, check it out https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=14530

Thanks for the compliments guys. I looked up the tires online, and I like them. Unfortunately, the car season is almost upon me, and my money will likely be going into the car. Any good salvage places to get good condition used tires?

It looks good, but like others said larger tires would be better. I had my torsion bars cranked up but I ended up putting them back to stock because I didn't like how the rear looked when I was hauling anything. Also the front used to bottom out on sharp drops like pot holes and things like that. Many people say that cranking the bars does not affect the ride, but I find that it does. Since I am often hauling heavy loads, I prefered the stock setting with the rear slightly higher than the front.

Its really a personal choice I like the level look and HATE the raked front... but that is MY opinion and others may disagree. If YOU like it leave it.

Chris
