I re-opened quite a while ago to elect a chapter leader but, it seems people don't care.
ONE person was nominated & that's where it stopped.
That's not entirely true. People and nominations were starting to happen, just a case of too little too late. Lots of us do care, but it is not really known what is expected of a chapter leader. What does he really do? Yes I have read the posts, and maybe I'm a little slow, but I still have questions on how to get it all started. So to say we do'nt care is a little offensive.
As I stated last week, if we can assemble a small group for support, I would be willing to take the position as chapter leader. If there's not a whole lot involved, where I can handle it with the rest of my busy schedule, then I'd still be willing to at least try it. Just let me know what needs to be done.
As million pointed out to me, I'm ineligible to hold the chapter leader position at this time (I haven't met my 30 days of membership yet). However, I will help out in any way I can. I actually have a few ideas regarding a chapter logo that I'm going to put together over the next week or so. Anybody interested can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I'll forward them over to get feedback before we send it in for FTE approval.
