oil filter adapter

You will need the adapter for the oil filter. The hole in the frame does not match the oil filter location. The filter is forward of the hole in the frame. The stock adapters they use from the factory only work on certain frames. The frame I used was a 87 F-250 that had a 351w. When I put the 460 in, The adapter would not work with the frame so I had to use an L and L adapter. The other option would be to modify your cross member before installing the motor. I already had the motor in and did not want to pull it out.

Good luck with your transplant.
