what about having somthing at KY Speedway at the truck race in july. the race is sponsored by ford. tickets are reasonable as well and you can buy tickets there the day of the race. it never sells out. i have season tickets and go every year. last year they picked some trucks from a local car show and had them there are the race track. the trucks actually got to drive around the track and had great parking spots for the entire race as well.

Great idea. Would you be willing to do a little legwork on this? What all do we need? Is there a chance at a group discount for a group from FTE?

i am willing to do a little work on this, i think it would be fun to hang out there. as far as what you will need is just how hard you might want to tailgate out in the parkinglot. if we can all park together i got one canopy, a small grill, corn hole set and a couple coolers. as far as a group discount i dont know what the minmum number of tickets they might want us to buy, but i can check it out. let me know what other info you might want and i will talk to ray and see what he thinks and if he might want to go.

I can contribute another canopy. I believe Ray is interested as this is something he and I discussed one day. We just haven't gone anywhere with it yet. He will post on this in the next few days.

WHen are you working on that sub box? I would love to see some pictures as to how it goes.

i am going to start on it soon as i get a weekend with some nice weather. i was going to get started on it this weekend but it rained on sunday and that was the day i nothing going on. i will take some pics and post them while i am working on it. i should be able to get the whole thing built in one day. the hard part is going to be the fiberglass and body work.

as for the meet at the speedway that would be cool if you could bring one canopy. after ray makes a post lets go ahead and start a new thread on it and i will check on group pricing for the speedway and email a couple people there.

thats cool, so waht part of KY are you in?? my family has a cabin on cave run lake in morehead. we go through maysville on the way there.

as far as group discount on tickets for the truck race at KY speedway, if we have 50 or more people it is 10 percent off ticket price. so if you would like lets go ahead and start a thread about it and see who all replies and might want to go.

cool. I live in Florence, which is just south of Cincinnati. I know of the area where the cabin is. I will start a thread in the Kentucky chapter and post in the chapter leader area also to see if other states would like to join in.
