The first annual IL Chapter spring show/picnic will be held on Sunday, May 8th, with a rain-date of Sunday, May 15th! This event will take place at the Kankakee River State Park. The time will be 10:00 AM to sundown(about 7 PM). This will be a free event. There will be no dash plaques, trophies, etc! The purpose of this event is to meet other chapter members, and enjoy each others' Ford trucks. As Chapter Event Coordinator, I'd like to ask any members who would be interested in attending this event to please register by answering this thread. That way we'll know how many people to expect, and whether or not we'll have to reserve a specific grove at the park and get a permit.
I just realized that May 8th is Mothers Day,I won't be able to make it for this reason.Might this date be a problem for other members as well just a thought.
Yeah, Mother's Day is a day my wife kinda frowns on me going to car shows,truck shows,etc. I'm planning on attending,barring work conflictions,but May 15th would be better.I'm sorry I didn't notice that earlier.
Due to the fact that May 8th is Mothers' Day, the Spring truck show is being moved up to May 15th, with a rain-date of May 22. Sorry for any inconvenience.

From Vandalia, take I-70 east to I-57, then take I-57 north to Kankakee. Kankakee River State Park is located off of RT 102, northwest of Kankakee. I hope this helps, if not let me know, and I can give you more detailed directions.
