How about this, someone from each area like maybe fellro down in burl, keokuk area, me in Des Moines are etc pick one sat a month, and go to a resturaunt for coffee, and breakfast or lunch whatever, and anyone that wants to come is welcome to just chat, and bs about our trucks, if someone say wanted to do it in cr/waterloo area (or dubuque for taz) quadcities area (and this might even bring in some of the IL guys) southeastern iowa as mentioned I will do the DesMoines or indianola or will even drive upto Ames, maybe someone in the Omaha CB area and maybe souix city, and creston or red oak area. I think I will start doing this myself, and post when and where and anyone that wants to come up is more than welcome, even if I sit there by myself.
This is not to replace state wide meetings just a way for guys to get to know one another better, adn more involved in the whole idea.
So lets hear what you all think, or other ideas

i did that when i was trucking over the road when we were still high plain drifters. i met mtflatt up in montana. yeah that is a great idea. easier to drive a town or two over to meet up with some guys then to try and make it to a state wide event. i myself as you guys know am so stressed and busy right now i barely have time to sleep

I have been planning on doing that on my own, just going to different areas, but I think it would work better if someone in each area would take the reigns and get it started that way, and the rest of us know when the locals are doing their thing, and we from distance can show up when we can, I like it. For the SE, Fort Madison or Burlington would probably be most appropriate, at least for a start

We have beers and play pool on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the BigFoot pub in Spokane. SO if any of you fancy pants truckers ever get up this way stop in and say hi!
