I just installed the brand new "Big G Mileage Miser" module for a 1999 7.3 L PSD that is guaranteed to give you 3 more mpg in addition to 50 more hp. I have only driven 75 miles on it so far but can tell that it dramatically changes the way the engine works. I will not know if it really improves mileage for a few more weeks. This module is so new that it is not even listed in dealer catalogs yet. If you want to try it, you have to call Granatelli and they will give you dealer names. They give you 30 days to try it out. If it does not improve mileage, you can supposedly get your money back from the dealer and then Granatelli will reimburse the dealer.

We carry the Granitelli brand, but have never had a request for it in a diesel before. Keep us posted on how it works out for you.

Just found this post; although I don't know if anyone is still reading it - I'll post my findings. I bought the 160hp version for my 2006 F250 KR 4x4. First one didn't work and I had to send it back (direct to Granatelli, although I bought it thru JEGS). Second time around, I managed to get a one of the original source hookups backwards and Tech Support corrected me. Other than that; the darn thing works great! In race mode, I can actually smoke the tires will just a touch of break torque. This thing really moves the old truck something fierce. Looks like it may improve (I won't swear to it yet) mileage. Only part I didn't like was having to 'manually' retune the tranny by going through a 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% gas/brake combination...

My 2cents.
