Any SVT err, umm FoMoCo employees here (or have "friends" who are) know of the HP or powerplant(s) that are going into the NextGen SVT Corba & Lightning?


I think they're unveiling the 07 Cobra at Chicago's Auto Show, which is next weekend.

 

Im obviously no insider it but it makes me sick that the Cobra and Lightning are on "hold." :-(

 

there is a rumor that carol shelby is comeing back to ford to run the svt division thats the hold up...

the cobra is not on hold, it will be out for 2007 and it is going to be shown at the new york auto show on march 23rd 2004. as for the lightning look for it to be out in 2008 i would say. there is a rumor that ford is going to come back out with the shelby mustang, the engin rumored to be in the car is the same one that is in the ford GT, 550hp. shelby is not going to be running SVT. for more info on the cobra and what has been said about the shelby mustang go to www.themustangsource.com.
