Hey man, been busting my A$$ on the Bronco to getter ready. Just got all new Body mount bushings from Gus Machado Ford (buddy works there, great price!) I thought there were more people from South Florida on FTE. To bad we can't post in the other forums, the moderators will kick it back over here.

gonna try to get an oil change at gus machado maybe(drain plug is stuck-so hopefully the can break it and replace it hehe) insurance costs like a b*tch cause im only 24 and a new tag . . forget it

I'll bring mine. You won't believe what happened. Put the new mounts on for the body, got late. Went to close the truck up for the night, go to close the back tail-gate, the window was half way up did'nt notice it, closed the gate and SMASH!!! I will be bringing a brand new back glass to the meeting @ a cost of $135.00!!! Found a good & cheap glass guy though.

So Who would've thought we would have a "mini Pre-meet" at the Local U-pick. Turns out I went to scrounge for some parts and ran into Monty and Felix who were there too.

I made out like a bandit! Found a Cherry Fully loaded Lariat which had apparently been restored recently, so I pilferred it for parts.

Got some realy nice cloth Sunvisors, Some perfectly clear headlights (Boy did I need those) a good guage bezel (Mine was all spider cracked) and a simple Y-Pipe

I already installed the visors, Lights, and Y-pipe (This one leaks too )

got the power windows ready to go and they should be in before the meet.

It's going to be a bigger projec tthan I anticipated since the truck does not have any of the factory wirring for the power windows/locks in the cab. Luckly I grabbed the harnesses that go in the doors. so I'm just going to have to run 8 wires across the cab to connect them together.

The Truck also had the metal trim piece on the tailgate with the red reflector. I thought about it over night and decided to go get it today... Only to find that somebody apparently dropped the tailgate on something and broke the reflector (Sometime between yesterday and today )

I was totally bummed out. Now, I'm unhappy with my plain tailgate which I was perfectly happy with before yesterday.... Don't you hate it when that happens!!!!!


But I did take the door hinges off it (They had the spring to keep the door open.) I'm tired of my doors trying to close on me by themselves.

Basically all I need now is the rubbber trim pieces that go on the bottom edge of the driver and passenger windows (outside).

All the ones over there were in really rough shape.

I painted the silver strip on the headlights and they came out great.... You'll see them at the meet.


I drove by the park today and WOW... That place has grown. Looks like they have fixed up the whole back part that iused to be closed off.

So Felix... Since that is your neck of the woods, where in the park are we meeting..... Somewhere not to busy where we don't have to worry about looking for spots close together.
