292 performance!

292 performance!
Hey guys. I'm pulling the 292 out of my 64 F100 to swap a 351w in it's place.
I do however really like the 292 and want to keep it for a old rat rod poject i'm starting on.
I'm going to rebuild the y-block and use a set of ram horns and a Offenhauser 3 dueces intake (man, these are expensive!!).
My question is, other than what I've mentioned along with an overbore is there any way to squeze a little more power out of it?
I've done a little research and I don't believe anyone makes a higher compression piston for this motor. Is this correct?
Wich heads are the "good" ones? Where are the identifying markings located? How do these respond to head work?
Also, Does anyone know what this motor is rated at stock for hp and torque?
Thanks,
Mike
P.S. Please feel free to post Y-block related links. I could use some resources for both knowledge and parts.

You can start with adding www.ford-y-block.com to your favorites list. Then look over this forum and you can get a lot of ideas of what to do. .040 quench, G or 113 heads, 4 barrel manifold, cam, and so on.
