Oh! Oh! I live in Davenport! That means me!
But, I'm only gonna be around on Thursday and Friday (and today-Tuesday) like from 11 to 3. Not much of a window there, but thats my life - no time for nothin.
Your 86 would embarass my 87 anyway...

I may be back up there Saturday, that is to be determined... My 86 isn't as pretty as the picture makes it look, it is a bit uglier in person. I hope to be fixing that rough box soon...thanks to another Iowa FTE member! Then it will be needing painted, and it will once again be a nice rig. I like it anyway, but it sure is nicer to look a little better. But I bet my dad's truck would make yours look like a gem... I just bought a whole truck to get his back into shape... Have to see, Thursday may just work...

Thursday is looking to be the day, I can meet for lunch if you guys are available, aor after work. What I have to do is look for my old truck that I sold that has yet to be paid for, was supposed to come back, I kept his van, but he hasn't kept contact, so I will be checking in Grand View for it, then was going to go on up to Bettendorf to check out some vehicles at Quad City salvage auction. So from there, anything goes.

Well, if you're gonna be in Bettendorf, maybe we could hook up for lunch at Ross's - right at the bottom of the I-74 bridge. (i'm not sure where the QC salvage auction is)
I have to be to work at 4pm. Infact I need to be leaving soon now!

QCSA is out at the airport, north of I-80. I will be coming into town on 61, in order to do a drive by on the possible location of the truck, otherwise, I don't know what I will do, just have to talk to the sherrif's dept in Muscatine, I guess. Nice thing is, I still have a spare set of keys, and apparently he has never titled it, as the lein has never been sent to me, so it shouldn't be a hard repo, if I can locate it. It is hard to hide in the sense that it has been rolled, but I fixed it good enough to operate with no problems, just that the roof has a few distinct wrinkles... so if Lunch is the only time that you are available, I will probably go up there first, then work my way back afterward.
