I have the Hankooks on my 04 F150 and was skeptical at first, but after all the b!#%) on this site about vibrations and tires that can't be balanced, I'm happy with mine, very smooth, quiet, and seem to hold the road well.

The Generals were the AmeriGS on my 99 Sable. Not on my F150. The Generals on my F150 lasted 56,000...with no problems.

I had the 04 XLT before upgrading to the Lariat. The XLT had the Hankooks and I thought they were great for an off brand. Had a hum exactly at 77 mph, but other than that all thumbs up. So those that have them, get your money's worth before changing.

I just took delivery of an 05 XLT 5.4 4x2 with Hankooks. Whatta name. Which is worse, that or KUMHO...I was familiar with them in the Class 8 market (tractor-trailers) and they came over here hunting for market share. I guess they got it, cuz all the trucks on the dealer lot that I was interested in had them. Salesman (personal friend) said, Hey, you want us to put HanKooks on 'em or go back to Firestone? NOT.

Ive had them on my 04 XLT... I had to replace one of them because of an un-repairable puncture.. the replacement cost for one was about $90.... The store manager at the tire shop had to special order them as Hankook was the only company that made the unusually small for truck sized 235's... He added that these tires were quality tires but probably should have been made for a lighter truck or a passenger car... I agree.... great ride.. but visually they werent as appealing as id like.. I ended up lifting my truck with the new 6" fabtech lift kit (which now comes in black by the way) so of course had to get wheels to match ( 17" pro-comp xtreme alloys / 35" pro-comp A/T's)<----happier with these

Well I'm happy to hear they are pretty well made tires. They do look a bit dainty though don't they? I like my Nitto Terragrapplers on my superduty much better though.
