Custom Wheels- RWD or FWD?

Does anyone know what the difference in rims might be? What difference is it if the rims are made for front or rear wheel drive? They all serve the same purpose don't they? Anyone have any insight?

I think it is the backspacing.

Rims From A Rwd Should Be Interchanggable, They Will Not Clear The Brake Rotor On A Fwd Front,but Will Fit On Back

I found the answer- RWD rims are designed to withstand a greater load capacity. Only cars and some mid-sized trucks can use fwd rims.
