Thumbs up F-150 Gas mileage pleasantly surprised
I have an f150 4x4 with 3000 miles on it. I am getting between 14 and 18 MPG which pleasantly surprises me. I was wondering what others are experiencing. I have the 3.73 limited slip rear end.

2004 FX4 mileage
I have 10k on my truck. I always seem to get 16mpg for combo city/highway driving.

About the same as you...I did almost 19 on a 4 hour trip recently. It helps if you post what engine you have. I have the 4.6, but the 4.6 or 5.4 do about the same for mileage.

Ol'Blue...Scab...5.4l ..3:73..4by..33"tires.
Getting 17 miles per US g. highway for a 2 hour trip at 105 K.P.H. And around town 13.5 m.p.g...have 8300 miles on odometer

recently, i averaged about 14 mpg on a sixteen hour trip. i have a 5.4 and don't see great mileage. i get 13 in town and about 14 on the highway.

Lariat Scab with 3.73LS...5.4 I get 15.5-16 around town and normally see 19+ on the highway. I've seen as high as 21.5. It's tows the 3000lb boat at better than 17mpg...

2004 Screw FX4 with mixed driving 14-15 mpg with 9100 miles. The best I have seen was on a 100 mile trip on the interstate with cruse set at 72 mph 17.9 mpg. If the cruse was on 80mph 16.2 mpg.
