80mm maf

will a 02 mustang cobra 80mm maf work on a 01 f150? also, i thing that it works with 24 lb injectors. i believe i have 19 lb injectors. does this mean if i use it i need 24 lb injectors? or will i just need a retune? i know am tring to learn as much about my truck as possible to increase the power. so any informantion will be used for that. thanks.

The stock MAF is plenty big enough on your truck. It will support a 75mm TB., larger cams and better exhaust. Just installing the larger MAF will not do anything for you. It would have to be recalibrated for 19lb injectors or it will run terrible.

i am porting a stock elbow to match a 75mm tb. when that is done i am going to install the 75mm tb and the elbow at the same time. i have been looking a cams. i like the look of the comp cams xe262ah cams, but the plan is to add a supercharger in about another year and half. so i don't know if they will work with a supercharger. i feel that with a chip it will all work well together. i wanted to go the 24 lb injecters to help with that tune later on. i am still learning about my motor and what can be done with it.

I believe that CompCams has supercharger cams as well. I would install them if you are going to supercharge later on. I would get a Lightning MAF. and possibly a Lightning PCM when you get the supercharger. Then get a custom chip or tuner program from DiabloSport. 24# injectors will work fine for what you are wanting to do.
