I have a few ?'s to ask!
Hey guys! How's it goin'?
I have a few questions to ask. Here we go!
1. If I buy a set of 1-piece headlights for my '97, would I have to upgrade my original wiring to handle the increased amount of current or will I be ok?
2. I'm looking for a factory tach to put in my '97 and I was wondering if I have to find a tach specific to my 4.2 V6 or can I just bolt in a tach from a 4.6 or 5.4?
3. Where can I find some Medium Graphite gray interior paint because I'm ordering a A-pillar with 3 gauge pods?
Thanks for your input, guys!

Check the build date of your truck. If it is 6/96 or earlier, you will have to change the header panel to accept the headlights. I just installed some Depo projectors in my truck and they came w/ a new wiring harness. You plug 1 end into 1 factory plug, hook up the power and ground and then plug up your headlights. It pulls power straight from the battery.
I'm not sure about the tach but someone else will come along and answer that one.
What gauges do you plan on putting in the pod?

Smaug, my truck was built in April of 1997. I don't remember the name of the company that sells the 1-piece headlights, but I really love how it looks. Or maybe I could bolt up a set of Lightning headlights and corner lenses too. What do you think is best???
There are three gauges I want to put in the pods: Air/Fuel ratio, Transmission Temp, and Pyrometer. The style is called the Cobalt Series from Jeg's. Their gauges are black faced and at night they emit the same color as my factory instrument cluster.
Thanks!

Smaug, I can buy a set of em on Ebay or from Truckin' Magazine. No, I don't have a link to the ones I want. The ones on Ebay are around 180-200 bucks and the ones in the magazine are running up to 325 or so.
Hey, what are the odds of the transmission temp gauge failing and spraying tranny fluid all over the place? I have heard of quite a few of em failing and doing that.
Thanks!
