The most common places for leakage include where the hardtop meets the windshield, where the doors mate to the top and windshield, the area around the liftgate, and the fresh air inlet can leak when the drain is plugged. With 30 years of use, removing and installing the hardtop and normal wear and body sag, they can leak from anywhere there is a seal or a gasket. But with some seal replacement and some adjustments, they can be made pretty water tight.
