WOW - all this for less than $95 (download + parts)! Hmmm.......if I installed four of these, I could have 8 psi of boost - kool.

Kurt -
Exactly!!! For that price, why stop at four? BTW, how's your Mountie running? Have you had to do any tweaking since you installed that SC?

Mounty is running excellent, thanks.
I will do a cat back as soon as the weather gets better (Blizzard here today)
and then I will dyno it.
I am curious to see the HP numbers...and also to make sure it is running at least rich at boost.
The real test will be towing in hot weather....

Let us know what the dyno run shows; I'm also interested in your impression of towing performance when you finally get thru winter there in CT!

Well, had a Gibson stainless steel side swept cat back installed the other day.
Didn't notice any appreciable hp gain, but did add a nice sound. Louder than stock but not too overbearing.

Wouldn't the electrical load on the alternator negate the power gains of this thing?

Yes.
Converting rotational enery to electricity is inefficient.
re-converting electricity back to rotation energy is inefficient.
And the fan is tiny.

Swirling the intake charge MIGHT help a carbed engine, but does nothing for modern fuel injection; it's your $$$...........

I'll bet that my urine stream puts out more psi than that Esupercharger thing.
What a joke.
