hey, i recently bought that 1998 F250 supercab 4x4 that i talked to some people on here about. i was wondering what the trailer hitch is rated for, i'm sure its a factory one as it is a 3/4 ton and it has all the ford trailer wiring on it. the only problem is that there is no sticker or stamping on the hitch so i don't know what its rated for, what did these trucks usually come with?

 

It says 5000# or 8000# with load leveling hitch on my factory hitch. I have pulled 7200# with mine with no problems.
