Pond 427 Sideoiler Blocks???

I think FFR428 mentioned something about these and that they are a little more on the side of sanity than the Genesis 427 Iron blocks. Does this company have a website?

there was some test blocks up on ebay a while back. These were not functional blocks, but remnants from some casting setup tests. Anyway, if those are on ebay you might find some contact info.

The unmachined iron blocks are selling for $3000 and I'm pretty sure Keith Craft was selling them machined ready to go for $3500. Check out www.fordfe.com Robert Pond was on there a month or so ago chatting about them. Maybe look up the thread and shoot him an email. He was very nice and responded to eveyone's questions. A few guys over at Club Cobra are running his blocks and Keith built the engines. Two aluminum and one iron I've seen so far. So they are out there. I kind of hoped they would be $3000 ready to go but guess not. G.

Nope the Genesis blocks are the same deal and you need to get them machined. They run around $500 more than the Pond blocks. You know I have a funny feeling about these two blocks. Both castings look VERY similar to each other but supposedly they are two different companies. I'm wondering if some note sharing was done...and maybe the casting molds also. G.
