Riser under carburetor
Hello all
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Sorry I should have looked past the 61-66 sections to find out more about the FE’s.
<o></o>
I have a question for you FE guys.
<o></o>
I have a 1965 f100 with a 352 standard transmission. I am getting ready to change out the 4 barrel Motorcraft carburetor that is way over sized with a new Holley 4 barrel 600 CFM. The truck has been bored once to .010 over stock and has headers and electronic ignition.
<o></o>
There is a riser under the Carburetor that is heated or cooled by the heater return line.
<o></o>
Do I need to run the heater water through this riser or is it even necessary here in California? I was thinking of bypassing the riser and not run the coolant through it.
<o></o>
What do you FE guys think?
<o></o>
Thanks
<o></o>
Jon
