I'm back finally..

Hey guys, I'm finally back postin' like crazy for awhile now. I haven't made a post in this forum for more than a month and I feel odd not doing that. Well over the holidays I got my system installed-(2 400w Audiobahn 12's and a 1600w Pyramid amp and My new $240 Pioneer premier cd player) It is alright but isn't near as loud as what I expected and it is because my box is too small behind my regular cab seat--And I payed some hefty bux to have it custom built.

So now I am going to be moving on to bigger and better, I'm out on a search for a new truck- An ext. cab V8 f-150. I have been calling on many but I am just waiting for the right one to come to me. I still have my MAC air intake and my rollpan that I got for christmas so anyone on here that wants either--Just talk to me, and I'll probably have them on EBay before soon if no one wants them.

I'll definetly make sure to get some pictures of my beauty and my new system before I sell her. But I am pretty much going to be putting a few of my mods on my f-150 that I have now on the new one I eventually get-my blackouts, grill, cdplayer, subs, and everything. But then i'll be getting a new box built for my subs so they are loud as crap.

Long story, but I will definetly keep you guys posted on the new truck situation!

if only you lived nearby me, i'd of built you one that's twice as loud for half the price.

i've fit much behind the seat of my rcab. something to the tune of 2200wrms of amps, 3 farads of capacitence (and built in fused dist. block). I ran 0awg, 4awg, and 8awg back and forth, with 8awg power wire to my 4 kicker S10L7d2s, wired series parrallel into 1ohm. Each sub only sat in .7cu-ft, but if you know the solobarics, they are designed to SLUMP small boxes. In larger boxes, especially the vented ones, they have been responsible for decimating villages. I also had 4 6.5's and 4 1" tweets, all kickers, in the doors and kick panels. The kick panels are for sale, BTW

Unemployment caused me to sell the system out, and it was a sad, sad thing. But my next system will definitely be kicker again. Can't love them any more than this.

The performance bug has got me goin, and after the lift, i'll be looking at 4.56's, t-lock, headers, efans, chip, etc. Maybe even that Knight supercharger on ebay. It'll be exciting to sit on 35's with a 7.5" lift, smoking all the ricers and scaring in their rear-views

What were we talking about again?

Homer,

Tell me about the roll pan. What color is it? If it's already black or not painted yet, I'd be mildly interested if the price is right.

lol, yup I have it for the flareside model. It is a real nice one, I looked around til I found the best looking one...but I atleast want 200 for it because I paid $230 for the thing.

Here is what it looks like-- http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/Pics..._Pan_3_Big.jpg

Here is the new truck I am going to call on tomorrow-- http://www.auto-rv.com/default.asp?a...ame=BM9490711D

I like that truck because pretty much every mod I have put on my truck now I can put onto it and then sell my V6. I can put my taillights, bedliner (if it doesnt have one), grille, blackouts, cdplayer, system, remote starter..everything besides my exhaust-well I could but I wouldn't do that. Anyways, I just really want an extended cab. preferably flareside so I can get my roll pan and euros on there without buying new ones.

I hear that man, I'd love a Supercab also. But if I had one I'd be like you...needs to be a V8 for my taste. Good luck with everything!

Yep, I don't think I'll opt for a V6 again, mainly for the reason that if you want exhaust and you have a V6--it won't sound good, or should I say it won't sound near as good as for example the 4.6L or 5.4L engine V8's...

Mine sounds just fine. In fact, a guy told me that he likes the low rumble.

I think I'm gonna keep it now, and sell it along with the truck (I finally put it on). It makes the engine compartment look 10 times better...

Nope, not since I got in that wreck a few weeks ago. It really ticks me off how I was just about to get a new truck then I wreck my truck up because some 65 year (HANDICAPPED!!) lady had to pull out in front of me while I was going 20-30 mph. As I said it did roughly $5,000 in damage. I got the call from the insurance adjuster to get the truck fixed so the parts were order around Feb. 1st and said it'd take a few weeks for them to get in, so hopefully my truck is in the shop by the end of next week.

The funny thing is, they still haven't ruled out whose at fault for the accident. I did make my insurance claim (recorded statement) over the phone with my insurance company, about 2-3 weeks ago and they told me that the old lady's insurance company will be calling me to do the same thing soon, and they still haven't called...so that could be good or bad.....or neutral. My dad said he thinks they might end up ruling no fault, but I have no idea. Anyways, I let ya'll know what ends up happening.
