2.3L engine swap

No kit for this swap. Since your kit is another 96 v6 (preferably a 4.0) Ranger, you have all you need right there.
You must change a lot. Look under 4.0 Ranger hood, point to everything different from 2.3L underhood, then say to self "All that goes in place of the 2.3L!"...being a factory option, it all bolts in place.
Engine, mounts, tranny, radiator, computer, engine harness. You can keep the rear axle.
Of course, if you can manage to blow a 2.3L, maybe it's best to rebuild it with some performance parts and figure how to keep it running. A better version of what you got and you don't have to move a lot of stuff from a donor truck.
