Question Fender Flares

Has anyone ever install the after market fender flares ( offered from JC Whitney) on their trucks. I was wondering could they be put on a 1996 Ford F150 XLT Ex Cab 4X4. Are they easy to install? I see they are kinda expensive.

I have fender flares on my 90 ford and i think that there the worst thing ever because that is the first place rust will start. But to answer your question you should be able to put them on a 96 ford and there not hard to install.

I have them on my 95 F150 that I bought used 2 years ago. I took them off, washed good under there, and waxed 3 coats. They are facotry originals, but if you wash and wax under there and wash the undercarriage a few times a year there will be no rust.

Never even thought of that. Thanks for the idea!
