Exclamation Coolant temp sensors,

ok, i have a 1997 2.3 L4 and a question that has been on my mind ever since i replaced the thermostat and the housing.

i have 2 (yes 2) in a row coolant sensors, there 2" from each other...

If I am thinking what you are thinking, the one wire sensor is to the gauge, the multi-wire version is to the computer. You replace that one when you get an ECT trouble code...the other one goes when the gauges looks unlively and it's not the t-stat's fault.
