i had no idea it was that hard to get things from L&L, i have a set of the fenderwells from them, no complaints yet, but i got them many years ago and it only took two days.....really nice headers compared to others i have seen. the hookers require you to buy their motor mounts AND stands, dont know anything about stans but from what i saw on their website they only have them for auto trannys, but dont hold me to it

Hello, L&L told me the same thing when I was trying to purchase headers from them. What they do is wait till they have about 50 sets made, so when they take them to the coating shop, they can get a better deal on coating. That is why they are out a lot of the time.

What I did was call L&L back and have them to check around and see if one of their distriburtors that they sell to has a set of the headers that you need. The lady at L&L was glad to do it for me. She gave me about 3 phone numbers of vendors to check and "viola". I found some. Had em in about a week. Give it try. Hope this helps

Check www.broncograveyard.com and then select "460 swaps" in the 73-79 section. They sell some fenderwell exit headers that are supposed to fit the F150, F250, or F350. I was told these are made by a company called "Mad Dog". I'll be ordering them Monday.

type in "460 header" on ebays search. It should bring up a few stores that have headers, although I am not shure about fender exit. I think some are made by L and L.

I am currently swapping a 351m/400 to a 460 in my 78 f250 4x4 with 4 spd. I purchased the LandL clutch kit, motor mounts, and headers. I used my towers and it bolted up nicely. This is my first engine swap and i have decidied the best way is to go ahead and spend the money and get the whole LandL swap kit. It will save you alot of headaches trust me.

79 f150 460 4x4 swap

does anybody know why 2 wheel drive headers will not fit the 4x4 460 swap . with all the lift i have would they work? and does the swap headers on the drivers side clear the steering shaft? so tight right there. the passenger side looks like no problem. if any body knows about the answers to my questions it would be appreciated, before i invest all this money in swap headers iwould like to be sure.
