guage question

i have a 200 f150 w/4.2 and auto transmission. directly after start-up all of my guages show full for a second then drop to nothing for a second then come up reading normal. has anyone else had this happen or know if it is a major problem i should worry about? any feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome to FTE!
This usually happens when your battery is about to die. Get it checked before you get stranded. Be sure the terminals are clean and tight and the alternator and starter wiring is good too.

No problem. I found out about this the hard way, it did it a few times and then the battery gave out. It was my fault though, I fried the battery by discharging it a bunch of times when I was installing and tweaking my sound system.
