Heavy window fogging, Steam from vents ??

I've got a 85 F-150 4x2 302 EFI and lately I've noticed my windows are fogging up quite a bit(not so in the past) primarily when I use my heater. I've tried anti-fog stuff with no luck. the other morning when I started the truck I noticed steam or something (I dont think it was smoke?) coming out of the floor vent. I dont notice any antifreeze leaks on the ground but seem to smell it inside the truck sometimes. I had someone replace the motor last summer(could this be heater hoses???) Any ideas?
Thank you kindly.

I seems like a air conditioner problem if you have one. I have the same problem and I suppose that's a worn Dryer. Maybe you have to check your A/C.

this preety much means you have a leak in your heater box. likely it's time to replace your heater core. you could bypass it temporarilly with a piece of pipe uner the hood, but it's getting cold... Replace it before it ruptures and you get hot coolant everywhere.

had this happen on several cars in the past, once (the first time) i waited, and taking a right turn ended up with a bunch of 200 degree water all over my ankle and foot, dont' do this to yourself!

No doubt, it is the heater core. I have an 83 F150 4X4, had the same thing last fall. I agree with everyone else, get it changed now before you get a really big mess on your hands.

I agree, it's a heater core. That is a 20 minute job. Shouldn't cost too much for the parts.

Could you use one more "I agree", because I'm about to give you one too? Definately sounds like your heater core has a leak. Should be an easy fix, not too hard. I would fix it though instead of rigging it to bypass it. They are pretty affordable and it's a job you can do yourself. Good luck!
