I have an 8BA that I've been dragging around for years, and I'm probably gonna sell it. It is the original bore, and it has been hot-tanked and crack checked. I have the whole thing, starter, generator, heads, intake, etc. What is it worth?

I was watchng the end of an auction for a 53 Merc flathead 8 W/auto trans on Ebay last night, It sold for $860.00. I wish you were closer to your location, I would be intrested but from Florida shipping would probably be sky high.
I have a '53 Merc block in my '52 Panel. It has '52 Ford heads. Still runs. Plan on pulling it and selling it. However, before I do that, I need to find an OHV 6 cylinder to make my truck completely stock.

Hey PanelMan how much do you want for that Flathead. I have the Flathead 6 and I would like to go to the 8.
I am not selling the 8 until I find and rebuild/install the OHV 6. It'll be many more months until that happens. The OHV 6 are hard to find for some reason.
However, I am pulling a flathead from my '51 Ford Panel. It's a Ford flathead, though. I'll have it out probably within 2 months. I then plan to rebuild it, paint it, etc., and then sell it.
51FordFan, why don't you email me with your information and I'll keep it for future reference.
