Coil Pack Order

Coil Pack Order
I have 2001 Ranger Edge, 3.0L non FFV, 2 wheel drive, manual tranny, with 60K miles, barely broken in. Awesome truck, I love it. It's my 2nd ranger. My first was a 94 I bought with 13K, traded in back 2000 with 198K and zero problems.
Hoping someone can clarify a question for me here, and from what I've seen on this site I'm sure you guys can. The coil order on my 3.0L goes 4, 6, then 5, correct? I printed it up off of the firing order page, but just wanted to make sure.
Also, since I'm not the most mechanically proficient guy out there, why isn't just 4, 5, 6 for the order? Just curious.
Thanks for any help you guys can give.

If things were OK before the tuneup, check that you didn't knock off any hoses or electrical connectors while working around inside the engine compartment. And make sure the gaps on the plugs are correct, sometime the electrodes bang into something while the plugs are being installed and that affects the gap.
Also, if you don't have a scanner, but do have an Autozone or other national name brand auto parts store in your area, you can drop by and have them read the codes, most will do it for free. Get the code(s) and then you will know for sure what direction to go.
