477 in a '92 F250?

I thought it was just me that thought like that,I have an 80 mod aus F350 and bought a 477 to replace a tired 6cyl.Should have done some measuring first.Looks pretty much like mission impossible. the starter motor is about the same place as the steering box on the right hand drives. Have since bought a 460.Now im tryin to be clever and go 9speed od R/Ranger g/box.When Iwas young I was young and silly now Im old and Im old and silly.

When I first read that about the starter motor I thought you were gonna say the starter motor is about the size of your 6 cyl lol. WOOO buddy...

You got it right there handyman.I was fairly keen on seeing that engine bay filled in with the 477 .The 460 is a lot easier to get parts for though in Aus.

kinda like the bumper sticker "my starter puts out more torque than your engine". gotta love american iron.

I saw a guy TRY and put a 477 into a 79 crew cab 4x4, he got it to fit and run with lots of butchery, but last time I drove by his shop it was outside with no front sheet metal on it and grass growing up to the crankshaft. He was trying to build a pull truck.
It did look impressive with all that engine! just not very realistic.
