Folks, did ANY F150 from this era (87-96) come as a stock crew cab?

I was under the impression that only the F250's on up had crew cabs (4 doors) until very recently.

'97 F250 came as a CC.
I think that was the first year anythign made by Ford smaller then a 1 ton had 4 actual doors.
I have seen a 6 door conversion on a number of vehicles in the 88-96 era. They look good, but unless your packing a horde of kids, I saw no point.
Seating 9 however in a 4X4 truck would be nice...
Thankfully my CC seats my current and future expansion plans...

I have a 93 F350 crewcab, absolutely love the truck, however I wouldn't mind a little more space behind the rear seat.
Something like a crew-extended cab. Definately don't need six doors, but a little more interior storage would be nice.
I've been debating on and off for long time now, adding that. But, I keep reminding myself what an undertaking that would be, just for 8" of space behind the rear seat. Frame, driveshaft, cab welding. My, what a job.

frederic, I actually saw one of those between 92-97 at a local dealer. They're close to the interstate, so they do a lot of new long-haul trucks, and I remember they had one; it was an extended crew cab dually. They probably had a local shop custom build it, but it was definitely a conversation piece; it caught my eye everytime I went by it...........
