Introduce Ourselves!

Hello Everyone
I have been a member for while but not able to get to the forum at work and don't get on the computer at home alot. Guess that need to change! I use to live over by Underdog76 and Greythron3; live off Lake Otis and Lore on Applewood Circle so sure seen you guys around and up and down the road! I have since moved to the big town of Eagle River or the country side of it. 10 mile up Eagle River road to exact. I have an 04 F-350 6.0l Lariat 4x4, SRW, CC with about 34k on it and still have the Strokin' Grin! I have been in Alaska for 15 years now, was first sent to Eielson for 5 years and now at Elmendorf. And that is for 10 more months and then have to find a real job!!! I have always drove trucks anything from little Tonks in the dirt to T800 KW over the roada and in the dirts as well. Fords are good but what got me to buy Ford was the POWERSTROKE, it jusdt has some awesome number and will only get better, besides no one puts a CAT in their 1 tons unless they do it theirselves. Well enough rambling glad to be here a sure to see all around. PS, my Superduty is Blue/Tan with CB antenna on left side.

Hi all I'm Jason,
I am new to FTE and the Alaska chapter. I'm stationed @ Elmendorf and have been in Alaska for 4 years now and I will be here for at least another 3 years. Will be getting out of the Military and staying in Alaska for as long as possible, that is if I can convince my wife to do the same. I'm an avid outdoorsman, and live to hunt, fish, camp, and 4-wheel. I've been a Ford man my whole life, and it currently have a 2003 F-250 CC SB with the MIGHTY 6.8L V-10. Maybe I will meet some of you ANC & ER folks and we can hook up and make plans to go wheelin. Fill me in on anything I should be aware of with this chapter.

Hi Shep and welcome. I am in the process of creating a new "TOP" thread that will contain the Alaska quartely Agenda's. Once that is there check in and make comments.
If you would like I can send you a copy of our roster but I will need an email address.
You can PM me but make sure you write it out as such: mikemel (at) cvinternet (dot) net. FTE will block email address if they are typed out as you would normally.
Hopefully this summer we will have a few Alaska Get Togethers. Just gota get people to buy into the idea.
Once again welcome.
