2.0, 2.3 identity
i have an 88 ranger with an ovcam 4. there has been other engines in this truck. how do i tell what engine i have? its carbed.

my gues is its the 2.0 if its an older carbed model.

Yup, its a 2.0. The 2.3's had gone to fuel injection by that time.

check your vin # 8th digit I think,any dealer can tell you
